Questions we get
How do I get a quote?
Call (505) 578-7882. We'll ask a few questions and set up a free site visit with a written price.
Is there a form or email?
No — just call (505) 578-7882. You'll talk to a person.
What areas do you serve?
Sandia Park, Cedar Crest, Tijeras, Sandia Knolls, San Pedro Creek Estates, Paa-Ko, the Frost Road area, Crest Road, Golden, Carnuel and Sedillo.
When can you pave in the mountains?
Roughly late spring through early fall. Asphalt needs warm temperatures to compact.
How thick should a driveway be?
Typically 4–6 inches of compacted base and 2–3 inches of compacted asphalt; more on steep or soft sections.
Can you pave a steep driveway?
Usually. Very steep pitches may suit concrete or a different layout better; we'll tell you honestly.
Why does my driveway keep washing out?
Runoff crossing or running down it. Swales, culverts and cross-slope fix that.
Chip seal or asphalt?
Asphalt is smoother and stronger on steep sections and at the house; chip seal costs less on long, gentle runs.
Can I plow my new driveway?
Yes — use a rubber or poly edge or a slightly raised blade, and mark the edges.
How often should I sealcoat?
About every 2–3 years, starting 6–12 months after paving.
Do I need a permit?
Usually not for paving on private property. Work at a county road or state highway may need one. We'll help check.
Do you work on shared private roads?
Yes — we give road groups clear written options they can split.
Do you do commercial lots?
Yes — paving, repair, sealcoating and striping.
